Alpha Commons is an educational program promoting innovative doing through community-based challenges. We empower children to discover, inquire and prototype design and technology solutions for social change. 

An award recipient of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund, we have been serving children through nonprofit organizations across Hong Kong, delivering customized curricula that encourages empathy, creativity, and critical use of new technology. 

Alpha Explorers (Ages 4-6)

Children construct knowledge and meaning through practical experiences. This program provides opportunities for movement, role play, and hands-on learning culminating into a tangible project addressing community challenges. We develop communication skills combining content areas in English, math and science.

Alpha Flyers (Ages 7-9)

Children co-construct for understanding and for new knowledge. This program provides opportunities for inquiry, collaboration and discussion to actively engage children in their own learning. We introduce empathy building activities that dig deeper into social challenges and motivate children to positive action. Expect tinkering, experimenting, and a whole lot of fun!
